I've been playing the Call of Duty since the first one was released, and I have to tell you that this one surprised me big time! I've liked all of them, even though I have not played them more than once each.
The story is settled in a future conflict which involves Russia, the United Kingdom and the United States they are all fighting against Russian ultranationalists in a civil war which had very bad consequences for Russia. There are multiple locations: Middle East, Azerbaijan, Russia, and Prypiat, Ukraine. The game has many multiplayer modes, many different weapons and weapons accessories as well as gear, all depends on the level you are playing.
From my point of view, the single player is not bad, but it should be taken as training for the multiplayer, which is by far the best feature of the game. It is addictive and exciting, its amazing unique multiplayer system combines perfectly with their maps, and rating system.
Now some conclusions:
The story: I think it’s great, I though I was watching an action movie and I was the leading actor!
Graphics: one of the most realistic games ever made from the texture to lighting, everything is amazing.
Gameplay: amazing character movement, dialogue, shooting, in a few words: the works. I’m sorry if I can’t explain it better, but is simply perfect!

Just in case you don’t take a hint: I definitely recommend this game!
